Sibling Portrait - The Giants Causeway

A portrait of a treasured sibling memory. The location of this is The Giants Causeway. It is not somewhere I have visited myself so the use of google street view came in handy for me to get a good feel of these rocks and see what was hiding in the distance. Although an old photo was used, the rocks remain the same to this day. I really enjoyed creating this, First off, I love a good rock or two but I could also feel the closeness that these two have and that filled me with joy. This was gifted as a wedding present to the clients sister alongside the one below with a bespoke white wooden frame.

Sibling Portrait - Middleton on Sea
The second portrait of a treasured sibling memory.
The location of this is Middleton on Sea. Another place I have not visited myself so google street view used again to confirm what some of the image was, as the quality was poor. I used a little artistic licence here and added the seagull, wild flowers and the inflatable boat, which they had purchased together back in the 90s. What lovely memories. I am so honoured to have been asked to lock them onto a canvas so they could be gifted to his sister for a wedding present. Such a lovely thing to arrange for your sibling.
This was gifted as a wedding present to the clients sister alongside the one above. Both with a bespoke white wooden frame.

Tilly
Tilly was a special portrait for me as I was asked to create this painting of cat I who had gained her name from me.

A previous manager of mine from many years ago used to call me good Tilley in the office (My sister was bad Tilley of course) Tilley being our maiden name.
This beautiful lady had lived a wonderful long life with her humans. Learning of her nature and temperament while reating this was a real joy.
Sadly, Tilly passed away before the paingting was complete but It actually changed the direction of the painting as the pastel colours came through. I think that Tilly was trying to make her humans smile again.
A christmas gift for a loved one-It was welcomed into their home shortly after her passing. RIP Tilly. She was clearly very cherished and I feel honoured to have been asked to paint her beautiful face.

Maternity Portrait
Cherishing the magic of new life. This portrait was created with the sitter as her bump enlarged.
Baby arrived on the same day that the painting was completed which I thought that was pretty special. This baby wasn't due til a later date.
I loved creating this portrait. The bright colours and texture made it all feel very linked to the magical journey of bringing new life into the world.

Indy

This sunset scene of Indy was created using the ashes of Indy himself. It creates a little texture to the painting itseld. It was an usual but wondeful journey creating this. Between myself, Indys human, and the painting, we experienced some quite unusal and unexplainable things. It all felt extremley spiritual and Indy lead me the whole way. The painting now hangs over Indys spot by the front door. Seen from all rooms of the house to bring joy and love.
It was an absolutely beautiful journey to work with Indy.
