In love with nature and interested in history, I have stepped away from drawing historical buildings to create these acrylic paintings of some of our wonderfully small creatures. Each of which pre-date humans by millennia.

Natures Army – This is a small group that all play a vital role in our ecosystem. Together they keep nature balanced, healthy and thriving. They are also part of the food web so in turn, also provide life and health to larger predators (who of course have their own roles to play in this world). Our ecosystem is a vey clever and almost magical cycle of life and I think that sometimes we forget just how much is consistently happening in nature and we could all do a little more to help it thrive. So, let’s start with really appreciating the little Soldiers who keep this world alive. I have named them all, because when you give something a name, it is harder not to fall in love with them. They all deserve a little more of our attention and affection.
